Internship Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and talented Engineering Intern with a focus on electronics, IoT, and CAD modeling. This position offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that blend advanced technology with the art of gemstone analysis. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in developing and optimizing electronic systems and IoT applications, as well as creating precise CAD models for custom equipment used in our specialized processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the design, development, and testing of electronic circuits and IoT systems tailored for gemstone analysis equipment.
Collaborate with senior engineers to create and refine CAD models for custom tools and devices used in gemstone evaluation and processing.
Participate in the prototyping, assembly, and troubleshooting of electronic components and IoT devices.
Conduct research and contribute to the development of new technologies that enhance the accuracy and efficiency of gemstone analysis.
Document designs, processes, and test results, ensuring that all work adheres to company standards and regulatory requirements.
Support the engineering team in day-to-day tasks and ongoing projects.
Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of electronics, including circuit design, microcontrollers, and sensor integration.
Experience or coursework in IoT development, including connectivity protocols and embedded systems.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with PCB design and fabrication.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or similar.
Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools.
